Hectic-ness!

So everything's kinda hectic and frantic presently, so us girls don't often have time to blog, okay? Gooood.

Life sure doesn't stop for anybody and actually there isn't really  a lot we can do about it. SO we just got to hold on tight, stay focused, keep calm and carry on!

I know that Zezi and Hannah are both busy with exams and revision and lots of homework, so they struggle to  find time to set aside to write blog posts. Also, me with college is kinda busy and I have plenty of coursework and I don't spend a lot of time at home, apart from evenings and then its too late! But we are trying!

So although we may not be able to update our readers on our life's on here, you can catch up with us via our new twitter account! (@thewildgirls7)

 

Hopefully when the summer holidays finally arrive we will all be able to see each other a whole lot more and plan more ideas for this blog...rather than you having to wait like 2months for our next post, ha!

Relying on God // a lesson i'm learning!

Hiya people :-) Its Saff.

 

Ok, so I wanted to just talk a little bit about relying on God. If only we did this a little more, life would at least be a little easier. How often do we try to sort things our self because we think we know what's best? I know i do that a lot. When actually, more often than not, when we do this we usually end up making it worse than it was.. oops.

 

But God has an incredible way of taking hold of these issues and little bits of rubbish and screwing them up and throwing them to the bottom of the ocean, far far away. These things that seem massive to us and like a huge wall, are just teeny weenie little bricks in Gods eyes, that he can sort in a single second....if we let him.

 

That's why we have to lean on God and be reliant on him..... giving all of our issues and situations to God and letting go and moving on and focusing on what God wants. That's a lesson that i've learnt and ill be honest and say, I'm still learning, but i will get there! Cus i've got good. Yeh, he's a pretty good guy ;-)

Random questions with Hannah and Saff

 

Hey everyone, so, we're both sitting in Tesco cafe with not a lot to do, so we thought we'd ask eachother some random questions!!

 

Prepare yourself for the ultimate randomest blog ever!!

 

1) Saff have you ever owned more than...(dot,dot,dot) £150? (not including your bank account ;) )

>Ummm, oh yeh! Lol, no i haven't!... Would be pretty cool though ;-)

 

2) Hannah, do you like eating doritoes with flavoured dips (spicy, herby, cheesy..)?

>Oh yes!! My family says instead of having a sweet tooth i have a 'crisp tooth'!lol.....so yupp i looovvvveeeee crisps/doritoes :-DDD

 

3) Saff have you ever seen a member of the royal family? (not on TV!) Cuz i have ;-))))

Because i am a princess!!

>Ha! Nope, i haven't..............and...you...a princess? pfft! :-P

 

4) What is your favourite song at the mintue?....and why?

>Oooooo tricky one! Well i'll list my favourite's' -beneath your beautiful, don't have love, read all about it, never alone, stepping out...etc! (I could name a dozen)

Well, these are my favourite because i can link it to my life, for example read all about it and stepping out is all about we should to more to help others, we werent made just to sit down and do nothing, while the world moves on and grows. Basically yeah...that is what it is :-)))

 

5) Would you ever, if God told you to go do something which went against everything you believe in, plus christianity, would you do it????

>What? erm... well what God says is overall, no matter what my oppinion/view/beliefs are. Basically God is the centre of it all, he's the main man, he's the important guy. So if he told me to do something, I would do it, no matter what, otherwise i could be missing out on something incredible! So yeh..

 

6) Whats ya plan for this afternoon? anything cool....?

>Well i'm stuck with you for most of the afternoon so nothing cool....hehe jokes!! Ermmm...well i need to do some revising for school....so thats gonna be boring! But on the plus side, we are going to see that guy  preaching tonight! ;-) so yupp, all good good :p

 

7) Has there even been a significant moment in your life, which changed you? Could be about christianity or school?

>Ooh, good question, lol. Just growing up i think, is like one big life changing moment! If ya get me, as i slowly get older, my relationship with God is getting stronger and better! Just looking back at things i've faced and seeing how Gods been there with me and teaching me, yeh, it changes ya! Gods good :-)

 

8) How do you think your developing or changing as a person, what have you learnt?

>Yikes!! Good quesion aswell! Well as-well as you my faith has built me up a lot, looking back at my old self i don't know how i would of survived if God didn't step in and save me! I'm not sure how to explain really just that he is doing something in me which i failed to recognise for around two years! So yeh, Gods my life saver :)

 

9) If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be??

>Erm, me height! Ha, yeh i'm a shorty! But i'm happy :-)

 

10) If you had to stop the whole world from turning blue, what would you do? 

>I dunno actually! It would be cool, ermm maybe in the future when the technology is better i would invent something to change how people saw things or the earth itself!! L-O-L!

Thought i'd post..

Hello, It's Saff posting tonight. Not sure where the other girls are or what they're doing... hmmm. I'll have to find them, they'll be at church tomorrow, so ill see them then and find out why there so quiet when it comes to blogging. hmmm. lol.

 

So... yesterday was the carol service at church and the choir sang (which we're in), so we sang some choir songs and some carols, it was good fun and the churches looked all pretty and Christmassy with the main lights off and just lots of Christmas lights, it looked lovely and set the mood perfectly. So that was a good night.

 

Today we didn't all see each other. I got to see Hannah because it was the prayer day at church so we both went(which was really good), but I didn't see the other girls today... butttt, it's church tomorrow, so I get to see them all tomorrow. :-)

Some of us girls - Hannah, Zsara and Saff (and some of the boys) had to share about stuff that God was doing at a meeting that we went to last Sunday night. We had to speak at the front of the church (scary!?) But God was with us and it felt good to share what God was doing and just talking about his power and Hannah shared about how she got filled with the holy spirit (hopefully she'll share in more detail about that in a post sometime!) also we all got prayed for and God decided to touch us and fill us with this amazing feeling that cant really be explained but it was dead good! God is awesome! :-)

At Youth group (which is the craziest place on earth)

I've just been searching various websites for a quote that either inspires me what to write about or sums up what this post is going to be about...but...i couldn't find one, darn it. Ah well, never mind aye!

So I'm just gonna write some stuff..and then hopefully ill figure something out...

 Ok, so last night was youth group, which i love love love going to because basically its all the crazy youth together (including the WILD crew!) and we talk, giggle, sing, eat lots of sweets, play/listen to music, pray and have fun together...each night one of the youth sort of brings a little message...about things Gods been showing them...or bible verses or revelations or something like that! and its really good, we just sit and listen and think about the words spoken by that one nervous but amazing youth person. Last night, it was my older brother, Oliver's turn and he spoke about awakening and he spoke a little about this bible verse(click). 

He asked us some questions and read from the bible, then he said about the reasons why he/we come to church or youth group, he said that he/we might come because its a bit like a little 'hang out' where we can all be really silly and have buckets of fun, which is good of course...but he asked if that was are main reason?... He said that God had shown him that we should be there for him, to learn more about him and to get closer and in fellowship together and by praying and speaking about him...we can do that. He also asked us what great things we want to do in life.. one said that they wanted to climb mount Everest...one said they wanted to be a singer...some said that they want to help people and get people saved. Which is like dead cool, but God's not gonna let us do that if were not close to him and putting him first and getting a reasons right. 

We need to think why we go to church and is it really to worship God and to know him more. We need to pray, praise, seek and know God more!! So yeh, i think what he said was really good and spoke to each one of us individually. So God is good! :-)

If you wanna do great things and amazing stuff then we need to be close to God..which will awaken us and make us even.more.alive so we can change the world! :-D

More than conquerors

"People will hate you, rate you, shake you, and break you, but how strong you stand is what makes you."
 
What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?  Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies.  Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.  Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?  As it is written:

  No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.  For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers,  neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

The Bourne Legacy

Today us girls went to see the cinema to see The Bourne Legacy, we were meant to be seeing Ice age 4 but for some reason it wasn't on..

 Anyway, The Bourne Legacy was epic! We loved it, its an action thriller film, full of running and jumping and shooting and all that kind of stuff, it was really good! It was one of those films where your sitting on the edge if your seat all  the way through the film.. you just dont know what's going to happen next!

We had lots of *ahem* unhealthy snacks...but hey, were young, its ok! We had popcorn (of course!), biscuits, gummy bears, cheese puffs, chocolate and other little random sweet treats which made the day even more fun...we got a little silly and loud at one point though, i guess thats when all the sugar really kicked in! haha!

Its sad, that were all going back to school/college next week, six weeks has gone by so quickly, its like.. *blink*.....and its gone! Its a shame but we've enjoyed the holidays, been hanging out and having fun and being random and wild together :-D

So thank you girls, for that, lets make the most of this last week before we all go back to school/college next week!!

So basically this blog is by 

Hannah, Saff, Zezi, Zani and Zsara.

We are a group of girls that love the Lord and because of that can get excited and a little WILD at times!

When us girls are together we like to.... sing, dance, listen to music and write our own, go shopping, come up with fun ideas, go to church, laugh a lot, and whatever else!
